So we have 3 gud Spanish restraunts in Abilene and im here to tell Yu this is one of them right here no matter wat yu want thease guys wont let Yu down love the crew the environment grandpa would take me as a kid would most definitely recommend

This is my go-to burrito stop. The breakfast burritos are on par with anything else in town at a fair price. Portions are big. If you get a plate you will not leave hungry. Service is fast and friendly, good down to earth folks. This is one of my favorite places in town for breakfast and brunch.

This place is really good!! I liked their salsas and the street tacos were awesome. I don't live in Abilene, but I'll be back the next time I'm in town.

Great food

First plate is a dish called Carne con Chile (Meat & Hot Pepper Sauce) the meat was very soft. It was medium hot, tasty but lacked a bit more flavor. I also added a Chile Relleno (Stuffed Poblano or Anaheim Pepper) this item was stuffed with seasoned ground beef and was very, very good not spicy at all and very flavorful. The rice and beans were ok. The second plate is Chicken Enchiladas they use dark & white meat for the stuffing don't really like that. We prefer white meat Enchiladas but we gave them a try they were meh, not enough seasoning. Food was ok, cashier super nice.

Mr Alfonso is an outgoing guy, and so is his son,good prices on food ,thats the reason im there almost every morning, and they also have daily specials. The rest of the staff is also friendly.

Very good food and owner is a great guy, ordered my food but los+ my money and he allowed me to eat and trusted i come back and pay, which i did. Way better then the popular

I love their burritos. They have the best I've tried. Carne guisada and beef and potato with cheese are my favorites here. They use delicious mozzarella

The food is made for people who cant eat real spicy Mexican food. The people are nice enough, but it doesn't makeup for the lack of flavor. Also, usually you are treated to Mexican music in a Mexican food establishment. Not so here, your forced to listen to country music which wouldn't be bad if it was old country and not the naval infused new wave country.Alfonso is obviously what we call a Mexican oreo. Brown on the outside, but white on inside.Go back to your true roots...be proud of who you are, and please....spice up the food.

Got my order wrong told them at the window then still have me 2 bean and cheese burritos , I hate when you get home and your order is not right 😡

I love their food. We order the gorditas, burritos, chile relleno plate.

Better 2nd time around. 1st visit wasn't overly impressed. Food quality is good. Eggs tend to be very well done (almost dry). Portion sizes have decreased since previous visit. Friendly employees though. Like atmosphere. Limited selections at bakery too. (Like literally only 3 items @ 7 a.m.)

The food has always been great!!! The service, on the other hand, is not so great.

Delicious Menudo, Mexican Dishes. Homemade Tortillas, sweet pan dulce/sweet bread. We'll Defenitely be back!!

I enjoy the food the price is good you guys up here in Abilene come on down check this place out and also just try everything so I'm telling you and also you can hear a guy play guitar

The street tacos are amazing I think the owner is a musician because every now and then you'll have someone in there playing a guitar singing awesome environment

I had a sausage, egg, cheese, and potato burrito. The tortilla was hot and fresh as was everything else. I only had to wait a few minutes to be served. The atmosphere inside is terrific. I plan on being a repeat customer.

This plavr is great. The food is always good. The manager is nice and talks to everyone. That makes all the difference.

We drive from Dallas and have to stop and get Hernandez burritos from Butternut!! Omg great food, friendly awesome people, and the hot sauce is to die for! I have tried finding something comparable in DFW but no luck. Hernandez Bakery on Butternut is the best!

Best burritos! It's been 3 months since I've been to this establishment and never fails. Got a barbeque burrito. It was not greasy at all and very flavorful. Hot sauce is great☝Highly recommend eating here.
